Verna is an excellent host with lots of knowledge locally and of Canada in general. She provided a lovely night's accommodation and breakfast the following morning in a quiet suburb of Calgary, overlooking the Bow River Valley to the Olympic Showground beyond. I thoroughly recommend this comfortable and well equipped B&B.

Lovely quiet location, Verna was amazing so welcoming. I would defiantly stay again. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms where comfortable with great tv options. Handy location about 15 mins from the city centre.

We stayed here on the first night of our most recent Canadian trip. It's a 30 minute drive from the centre of Calgary and situated in a lovely neighbourhood with views across to the Olympic Park. The only noise was birdsong. We had a lovely welcome and the place is very clean. Shared bathroom was not a problem. Had a great night's sleep and a lovely filling breakfast which meant we didn't need to eat until we arrived in Jasper in the evening. Being British we appreciated all the tea we could drink! Very convenient for Highway 1. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Verna was a very accomodating and hospitable host - friendly but also respectful of her guest's privacy. The location allowed for a beautiful outlook onto Olympic Park (esp with the fall colours) although it was slightly out of the way. Bedroom/bathroom were clean, no issues with the shared bathroom.
